As soon as I saw this watch when looking specifically for Invicta watches I kept going back to this model. It looked simple but very pretty. My husband wasn't too keen on it saying there wasn't much to it, too simple; however, when I received it 2 days later his words were "I was wrong, this is a really nice watch". I am totally in love with it, all the bands are really nice and not flashy at all. You can basically wear it with anything. I was never big on big watches but this one just looks so nice on. Get it!!! If you like the pictures you'll like it even more when you see it in person!

I've read reviews about people complaining that only women that have thin wrists can wear this watch and even though I do have thin wrists I can't agree with that. There are still 6 holes remaining when I wear it, so I think even women with thicker writs should be able to wear it as well. I even had my husband try it on and it was big enough.

I am a huge supporter, and owner of Invicta watches (for myself - AND my wife). While this watch makes a handsome gift for any woman, and is Clearly a beautiful timepiece at a greatly discounted price - unless she has a Very thin wrist, think twice before buying.The saying that entered my mind after presenting my Mrs. with this watch was, "Anyone except thin women need Not apply". Either I received a watch with defectively small multiple (yet stylish) wristbands - OR - Invicta has made a decision Not to address the needs of larger size purchasers ! In a tough economy, I would think Invicta would want to have Every customer's needs satisfied!.

this is a nicely made watch that is packaged very well in a good box for keeping the extra bands in. however it is a bulky watch, very thick. the set also fails to include a tool for switching the bands. I have not tried to change the bands yet as there are no directions nor a tool for pushing the dowel rod over to remove the band. the lack of directions and a band changing tool are what brings my review to 3 stars

This is exactly what I've been looking for to give my bridesmaids for my wedding next year. I'm hoping it doesn't rain, but if it does, we will be prepared with this cheery bright red parasol-type umbrella -- it had a girly, frilly ruffle around the edges and that cute hook-shaped handle. All the 'real' parasols that I've seen can't be used in the rain so they just won't do. This umbrella well keep the rain off the girls AND look great in the pictures. I received my lap desk and was thrilled. The storage space inside is large and holds everything I needed with room to spare. I would definately reccomend this lap desk as it is more then I expected.

Right, so my husband purchased this for me for mother's day. I was so excited when I saw what it was. It's gorgeous, the wood is good quality, the bottom is ridiculously comfortable and the storage compartment is a very good size. I have a lot in there.

The big giant glaring problem? It broke the very first time I actually opened the top. The hinge is so tight it pulled the back of the desk clean off before I'd even gotten it fully opened, right after I took it out of the box. This desk is not cheap. I was not impressed with that. I've continued to use it, though, because we couldn't afford to replace it right away and I really needed it. The thing is, after using now for several months, the back is completely off and I've been so careful. I almost never open it, and the few times I've done so was to slip papers in and I never opened it more than an inch. It's still falling apart. I'm so disappointed, this is a really nice desk except for the whole back falls right off part. :(

I was a bit worried after I placed the order seeing that the last reviews before me were over a year old. However, I'm happy to say that I received this item as described and am extremely pleased with it!

The desk looks exactly as it does in the picture. It's well-made inside and out. The storage area is divided into 2 areas (left and right). The left storage area is good for pens, pencils, highlighters.. things of that sort. It's big enough to store my Olympus DS-40 digital voice recorder. The right storage side allows for bigger items. I like to store my textbook that I'm currently reading. You can probably store things that are smaller than a 1" regular binder (which my textbook is). The Lap Desk is comfortable - the cushion is also well-made. They didn't skimp on the little tiny balls, which the cushion is made up of (I have no idea what they're called) which is nice because my lap is never exposed to the hard surface.

Overall, I recommend this product.

My 2003 Acura RSX Type-S got the dreaded "Check Engine" light weeks ago. It would come and go and with that also came strange idle variations. I thought it was going to be difficult to remove the old sensor since it's been on there for over 8 years. All I did was warm the car up for 5 minutes in the morning. I jacked up the car, placed it on jack stands, and removed it using a O2 Sensor socket I got at Harbor Freight. Connected the new one and erased the CEL using a OBD2 scanner. Car has been running great all weekend and the idle has been 100% stable. Amazon's price was the lowest price I could find and I'm glad they carry it. Thanks Amazon!

I've had these pans a couple months now and I have really learned to love them (8' skillet and 10" skillet)! They cook really even and the construction is very solid. I did have a minor problem with "staining" after a couple uses which I noticed AFTER I took it out of the dishwasher oddly enough. I thought the pans were just going to be splotchy in the inside at first, but after busting out Ole Faithful (Bar Keepers Friend) it cleaned right up and I've only had to use it once or twice since. So far I havent notice in degrade in cooking ability and I still dont have a problem with sticking although I always preheat. I am 100% happy and would recommend them to anyone!

I have additional info about this item after using it. I ordered it specifically for high heat cooking. I used a cast iron skillet for this in the past, it worked great, but I was tired of having to do all the work required to keep cast iron useable. Well, when I gotCuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 8-Inch Open Skillet, to my surprise it said not recommended for high heat-only medium heat. Unfortunately this pan heats up very quickly, and retains heat to keep cooking, even after being removed from the heat source. I found that it is very hard to clean up. Brown bits of meat will come up, but will leave a brown stain on the surface of the pan. Pan is best used for low medium cooking.

I've had a while to try them out and am very satisfied. Very pretty, heats evenly, great for putting in the oven to keep warm or quickly broil (wouldn't do that for too long...)

I used AT-DP400 to connect the DVI output of a Radeon 3100 board to an Apple Cinema display's mini-dvi input. The display does show all the resolutions vut the quality at high resolutions is terrible... I don't recommend it for such an application.

To begin, I normally read the product specifications in detail before buying something like this, this time I just read the marketing, and that was the mistake. If you are thinking about buying this to use with a Mac or PC that has ONE DVI output to drive that fancy new 27" cinema display - DON'T, you'll be very disappointed to learn that the highest resolution you can get with this combination is 1280 x 720 - NOWHERE near what the monitor can support. This little fact took asking technical support at the company to get.
Now the company was very quick to respond to my question, and he had the answer, it's just that the answer turned out to be "that's how it works." :(
The product itself arrived a day before expected (good) and the packaging was good (not great, we're not talking multinational company here - no Apple or anything), nice sleeve around a cardboard container. The unit itself wasn't nearly as "prototypish" as others have said, but it's definitely built in low volumes - it strikes me as a solid 2nd or 3rd generation product for a new small business trying to build up.
Luckily it was on sale, so I'm not out that much $, but it really seems to be a bit misleading (the product page describes the max resolution you "can" get with it, but fails to explain in plain english what it really takes to get that).
Before you buy this, do a LOT more checking to make sure you fully understand what you're getting; if you have an older iMac with one DVI output - won't get you what you want, if you have a PC with one DVI output - won't get you what you want. What you will get is a connection to a mDP display running at an embarrassingly low resolution that looks like crap (even on that fancy new 27" cinema display).

Just received this item so these are observations from first day of use.
-Works nicely though a bit louder than our last kettle. Our four year old Melita started to leak, pretty good for a $20 kettle from Target. Hope to get a similar lifespan from this.
- Measurement markings are not correct. Filled a liter jug and poured it into the kettle, measure shows a bit higher than the 1 liter marking.

I noticed that an earlier review made a point about the kettle getting hot. Duh! It's metal and it filled with hot liquid. Even the plastic Melita got hot enough to make you rue touching it.

My wife bought one over 3 years ago when she moved here. She uses it every day, at least once a day if not more. Her original one still worked great, but started to develop some rust around the lid edge. We just replaced it with the same model, and it too works great. The water boils so fast and is great. very sturdy, and doesn't look too bad sitting on the counter as she still uses it every morning, and sometimes in the evening as well. I use it for heating water for our smoker. I no longer have to heat a giant pot, I just get a couple hot tap water pitchers, and then pour in a kettle of boiling water from this - works perfect!!

I have had this kettle for over a year and it is still going strong. Water boils quickly and stays hot for a while. I have not found the switch to be flimsy, it only needs a slight touch to press it down. The handle design is great, no fear of burning hands and very ergonomic.

This tree is going to look great- once it's completed! I am still not done hanging this thing up. It has 5 pieces and I think it is somewhat difficult to apply. Some of the pieces are quite large and it is difficult to line every piece up accurately. Because of this it is taken me a while to get it finished. I know it will look great though! Very cool tree.

This decal is so cool, I want to put them on every wall in my apartment! Comes in a variety of colors and is less expensive than many decals of a comparable size. I ordered one in brown and it is a nice chocolatey shade.
Follow the directions carefully and be patient. I took me about an hour to apply it from start to finish, but I'm generally a crafty person. Using a credit card to help apply it is very helpful, especially for the grass. Some of the edges didn't match up exactly, but it was easily rectified with an exacto knife.

Just put this decal up in the corner of my bedroom and I love it! It's definitely a two person job, but it's simple to put up. I got it in black since I have ivory walls and it looks amazing.
